What's New for the 2019 Chevrolet Spark?

For the year 2019, Chevrolet has updated the Spark with a redesigned exterior. The new Spark will have a redesigned front grille, fascia and headlights. There will also be additional new features such as two illuminated USB ports and a all new infotainment system with white lighting and low speed automatic emergency braking. These new features will make the Spark a much improved vehicle and among the top subcompact cars available on the market.

Does the Chevrolet Spark Have Trim Options?

In terms of models, it is available as a subcompact car. With a Spark, consumers will have the opportunity to choose among four trim levels. These include the LS, 1LT, Spark Activ and the 2LT. Each of these trim levels has a number of features that will make the driving experience very comfortable and enjoyable.

The Chevrolet Spark has the LS as a base model. It has a number of features that include 15 inch steel wheels, a rear spoiler, USB ports and Bluetooth. It also has a 4G LTE hotspot and a 7 inch touchscreen. With the Spark, you will also have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay available as well.

The next trim level is the 1LT. With the 1LT, the Spark offers 15 inch alloy wheels, power windows, power locks and a keyless entry. It also offers cruise control, heated mirrors on both the sides and LED daytime running lights. You will also get SiriusXM satellite radio as well.

The next higher trim level of the Spark is the Activ. This trim level offers features such as 15 inch alloy wheels, front and rear fascias and also a revised suspension. The car also includes fog lights, roof rails and heated leather front seats. There is also Activ badging with the car too.

The top trim level of the Spark is the 2LT which comes with leather seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel. There are also silver accents, push button ignition and rear parking sensors. A 2LT Spark also comes with heated front seats, an exterior chrome trim and an instrument cluster display that has been upgraded from previous models.

The car comes with a standard 1.4 liter 4 cylinder engine that has 98 horsepower and 94 pounds feet of torque. There is a standard 5 speed manual transmission that has a very impressive estimated fuel economy of 29 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway*. When the Spark has the CVT transmission, the fuel economy is a little higher with an estimated 30 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway*. The Spark can travel at 60 miles per hour in about 11 seconds and stop in 120 feet from this speed.
