What's New For the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban?
The highly iconic Chevy Suburban is in its eleventh generation and still going strong. There is a Performance Package available that gives the SUV a 6.2L V8 in addition to some extra tech inside the cabin. Two paint colors are no longer available, but drivers can still choose popular options such as Siren Red, Blue Velvet, and Silver Ice.

2020 Suburban Trims & Features
When it comes to the Suburban, there are three different trim levels available to you. First up is the LS. If you are interested in seating for up to nine, this is the trim for you because it is the only one available with three bench seats. This trim comes standard with tri-zone automatic climate control, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and remote start. Option number two is the LT. Going with this trim level adds leather, heated front bucket seats, and allows for the Z71 package to be added on. This package is geared toward off-road driving with a special suspension, underbody protection, and tires. The top-of-the-line option for the 2020 Suburban is known as the Premier. It pulls out all of the stops with the addition of features such as ventilated front seats with 12-way power adjustment.
2020 Chevy Suburban Horsepower
Drivers have their choice between two different engines, both with plenty of power. The standard one is a 5.3L V8 that will give you 355-horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Coming with this engine is a six-speed automatic transmission. Available on the Premier trim only is a 6.2L V8. With this engine, the Suburban generates 420-horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. For this engine, a ten-speed automatic transmission is standard. Adding the Max Trailering package to the Suburban will allow you to tow up to 8,300 pounds. The Suburban is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel-drive.
Chevy Suburban Safety
The Suburban keeps you and your loved ones safe in several significant ways. Standard on all models are features such as daytime running lights, rear park assist, a rear vision camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and teen driver. Available for the LS and standard on the LT and Premier are more features, including a safety alert seat, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, and forward-collision warning. Standard on the Premier trim is also a lane change alert with side blind zone alert feature.
