Specs at a Glance
2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT vs 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country
The newest Chevrolet Silverado is one of the most technologically advanced truck versions ever produced. It features a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, a 2,260-pound payload limit, and 495 lb-ft of torque. Yet, Silverado 1500 trims are not interchangeable. The LT trim will differ significantly from the High Country trim in terms of styling and cabin amenities.
Performance
LT and High Country trims each arrive with distinct engine and transmission pairings. The High Country is standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission equipped with electronic precision shift, while the LT uses an 8-speed automatic transmission. The LT's standard TurboMax engine generates 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. In contrast, the High Country is equipped with a 5.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Only the High Country can also be configured with the Silverado 1500's 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine (420 horsepower/460 lb-ft of torque).
Appearance
As the third tier in the Silverado 1500 lineup, the LT trim offers great value but won't match the High Country's bold exterior presence. High Country trims come standard with 18" Gloss Black AEV wheels, LED headlamps, a body-color rear bumper, and chrome door handles. LT trims still include noteworthy features such as a chrome front bumper, an EZ Lift assist power lock-and-release tailgate, and heated power outside mirrors. Both trims feature LED bed lighting.
Features
Few trucks rival the Silverado 1500's level of equipment. Crafted to be visually stunning and functionally capable, the LT and High Country interiors offer vastly different experiences. High Country trims come standard with a Bose premium sound system, rear carpeted floor mats, a front center console, and perforated leather seats. The LT features a 6-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cloth seating. Whether you're aiming for a more budget-friendly configuration or the top-tier High Country, the Silverado 1500 has you covered. Our sales team can walk you through the feature sets of both the LT and High Country trims so you know which one meets your expectations.
