Even with a non-professional racecar driver at the wheel, the Corvette ZR1 posted a 6:50.763 lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Under its mid-engine layout sits a 5.5L, twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 rated at 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque.
The new Corvette ZR1 boasts explosive acceleration, a top speed of 233 mph, and highly responsive handling. The optional ZTK Performance Package helps drivers improve their lap times and includes several truck-focused upgrades, such as Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires and a specialized aero kit.
