A longtime favorite with Orlando-area families, the new 2018 Chevy Traverse in Sanford is a top contender that offers plenty to appreciate. For 2018, the three-row SUV features an all-new look from front to back as well as new engine configurations and a brand-new nine-speed automatic transmission. The new SUV in Sanford's wheelbase and overall length are also bigger than before, adding 3 additional inches of legroom. Feature-Packed Models

The SUV is available in three main trims: LS, LT and Premier. The LT is divided into 1LT and 2LT sub-trims.

Standard features on the entry-level LS include automatic headlights, roof rails, a rear spoiler, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth, a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, USB ports and a six-speaker audio system that deliver crystal-clear sound quality.

For even more amenities, 2018 Chevy Traverse reviews recommend going with one of the upper trims. They add everything from foglights, remote start and tri-zone automatic climate control to heated front seats, navigation and a premium Bose sound system. Visit us to learn more!

Two New Engines

Chevy has updated the Traverse's engines, making them even more powerful and fuel-efficient. For starters, the 3.6-liter V6 can now produce up to 305 horsepower--that's about 20 more horses than the previous engine. Torque output for this configuration remains the same at 260 pound-feet.

Buyers of the 2018 Chevy Traverse in Sanford can also opt for an available 2.0-liter four-cylinder, which delivers 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Fuel efficiency has also improved by 1 or 2 miles per gallon depending on the trim. As mentioned above, both powerplants are matched to a brand-new nine-speed automatic.

Safety You Can Count On

For the current model year, the 2018 Traverse can be had with many high-tech safety systems, each adding an extra layer of protection for you and your family. They include a plethora of driver-assist technologies such as lane departure warning, forward collision alert with automatic braking and a surround-view camera.

All models come standard with an army of high-quality airbags, antilock brakes and a rearview camera. Also standard is a Teen Driver system that lets parents set parameters on things like vehicle speed and radio volume.
