2022 Chevrolet Bolt

What's New For the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt?

The Chevrolet Bolt gets several changes for the 2022 model year. It's now produced in two different models: Chevrolet Bolt EV and a new model, the EUV. The two vehicles share many features, including a shared electric powertrain, seating for five, interior technology, safety features, and various customization options. The Bolt EUV is a little longer and larger than the Bolt EV and can get about 250 miles of all-electric range. The interior and exterior get fresh makeovers and updated technology, and standard safety equipment on the Bolt EV.

What Features Are Available for 2022?

Two trim levels are available on the 2022 Bolt EV, and the Chevrolet Bolt EUV comes in three trims. The first trim in the Bolt EV is the 1LT. It comes with LED headlights, and it also has a 10.2-inch display, along with a digital display cluster. Heated seats and leather upholstery come with the second trim level, Bolt EV 2LT.

The base Bolt EUV trim is the LT. It features a modern cabin with soft-touch materials and a wealth of new tech features, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can opt for an available Wi-Fi hotspot. The second trim, Premier, adds leather seats and an eight-way driver's seat. The top Launch Edition trim level adds a panoramic sunroof, illuminated charging port, and unique design badging and wheels. You can opt for ventilated seats.

How Much Power Does the Chevrolet Bolt Have?

Both Chevy Bolt EUV and EV are powered by the same powertrain: a single electric motor and a separate battery. Both vehicles get up to 200 HP and 266 LB-FT in torque. The Bolt's one-pedal driving feature allows energy to be captured by using the same pedal to speed up and slow down.

2022 Bolt Safety Technologies

Some of the main safety features you can utilize in this new model include automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning to ensure you have accountability with how you operate the vehicle. Adaptive cruise control is easy to use and prevents the car from tailgating while spending time on the highway to reduce the risk of a collision and maintaining a steady speed.
