Although the Corvette is synonymous with speed, Chevrolet is proving that it also stands for solidarity. Marking a 15-year collaboration with the American Cancer Society, a pink Corvette has been designated as the official pace vehicle for the NASCAR Cup Series. This eye-catching car will help drive the message of breast cancer awareness to millions of fans.
Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society Combine Forces
Chevrolet has spent a decade and a half supporting the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative. The pink Corvette will lead the field at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. Chevrolet will donate $500 to the cause for every caution lap the pace vehicle completes (up to $25,000). Furthermore, Team Chevy drivers are racing for a cure; the brand will donate $1,500 for every top-10 finish (up to $25,000). In 2024, the caution lap program raised nearly $19,000. Chevrolet also supports the American Cancer Society by auctioning off these special vehicles.
