1-of-1 2026 Corvette ZR1X Raises $2.6 Million for America's Heroes

A significant charitable contribution was made during the 2026 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction when a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X was sold for $2.6 million. All proceeds will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that supports the families of fallen first responders and Gold Star families with mortgage-free homes.

The Corvette ZR1X is 1-of-1

Chevrolet designed this 1-of-1 edition of the ZR1X to honor those who serve in the military and as first responders. While it holds the title of America's quickest production car, its real value lies in the support it provides to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Global Chevrolet leadership stated that they are proud to see the winning bid go toward such an important mission.

Rick Hendrick, CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrick Motorsports, placed the winning bid on this special Corvette. The vehicle features a Stars & Steel-inspired theme and was hand-painted at the General Motors Design Fabrication shop. It boasts blue brake calipers and custom blue trim, and is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

Frank Siller, CEO of Tunnel to Towers, expressed his gratitude for the gift, noting that General Motors and Chevrolet have consistently stood by the foundation. This support is crucial for the foundation's goal of never forgetting the families of fallen heroes.

Chevrolet has a 15-year history of auctioning vehicles for charity with Barrett-Jackson, raising a total of $15.5 million. Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, stated that the ZR1X is a truly special vehicle that marks an important point in automotive history.
