The single-motor system has an estimated range of 150 miles, while the double-motor version can travel 325 miles on a single charge. The system is designed to power the SUV's front wheels and features an all-wheel drive mode.

The Ultium Drive transmission is designed to perform similarly to the gasoline-powered Blazer while reducing shift times. It is designed to shift automatically regardless of how the vehicle is driven. Standard features include active airflow management, a manual Tiptronic mode, and a standard line lock/start/stop system.
