2021 Chevrolet Colorado

What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

The Chevy Colorado gets a variety of new and notable improvements for 2021. Starting from the outside, the Colorado sports a bold new look with an updated front end. The Colorado has a more angular front end this time around, complete with a larger and more prominent grille. A raised suspension and durable all-terrain tires on select trims add to the Colorado's commanding exterior. The ZR2, which is the top trim, also gets a refreshed front fascia and a grille that is lower to the ground. More features are added to each Colorado trim this year, while you still have plenty of options for powertrain, performance, and your favorite creature comforts for an enjoyable ride.

2021 Colorado Trims and Features

Even at the base level, there is no shortage of features available on the Colorado. The entry-level trim, which is the WT, brings to the table Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard components housed in an infotainment system with a seven-inch display. By upgrading to the second trim level, called the LT, you can get an even larger eight-inch display screen instead. Two USB ports are included in the WT, while the LT has four. The LT adds on WiFi and more standard safety features. Heated seats are available on this trim and standard on the Z71, the first of two off-road editions of the Colorado. The Z71 gets a wireless charging pad and offers standard heated seats. The ZR2 has an excellent overall package with a higher suspension system for more ground clearance and rugged all-terrain tires.

2021 Chevy Colorado Horsepower

No matter which Chevy Colorado trim you choose, you can have the power you need for all your adventures. At the least, the Colorado provides up to 200 HP, which is plenty for daily driving and towing. If you want more power, you can choose the V6 gasoline engine instead, which provides the most power of the engine options at over 300 HP. A fuel-efficient diesel engine that generates over 180 HP is also an option. All three engines come with an automatic transmission.

Chevy Colorado Safety

Safety begins with airbags all around for the Colorado. While cruise control is an available safety feature on the base trim, it is standard on the LT. The LT also has automatic emergency braking. Hill descent control is added to the top two trim levels.
